i love buying dried pineapple from trader joe’s. when i saw these, i thought i’d give them a try. i went to the site and was surprised that it is not in english. fortunately, these were pretty self explanatory based on the pictures. here are some tips:
1. cut the pineapple as thin as you can – i ended up having a bunch of scraps to eat!
2. lightly grease the pan
3. bake at a low temperature for a long time – my temperature was too high and it quickly darkened the edges before i noticed and turned it down
4. mine baked for 4 hours and they were not completely dry before i needed to get them on the cake
i would make these again. even though they didn’t completely dry out, they were pretty tasty and looked great!
